  Happy Pride Month! 🌈✈ This June marks not only a celebration of love and acceptance, but also 30 years of our Pride employee business resource group (EBRG), American’s first EBRG created in 1994! Since then, over 3,400 team members and allies are a part of the Pride EBRG as it has grown to 18 global chapters. Together they have hosted more than 37 events annually by advocating for LGBTQ+ team members and customers around the world. We're proud to support our Pride EBRG and stand with our LGBTQ+ colleagues and community members to foster an environment where everyone feels seen, heard and valued.

  We mourn the passing of flight attendant Bette Nash who spent nearly seven decades warmly caring for our customers in the air. She started her career in 1957 and proudly held the Guinness World Record for the longest-serving flight attendant. Bette was a legend at American and throughout the industry, inspiring generations of flight attendants. Fly high, Bette. We’ll miss you.
