Earlier this week we had our monthly managers meeting. We had the opportunity to hear about how to be more efficient in assisting our current and potential business clients. Thank you to David Tedford for giving us more in depth knowledge around our SBA capabilities and Adam Hansberry for speaking about Public Funds and Treasury Management. It’s such an honor to have great business partners who are willing to pass the knowledge forward. It’s great to know that as a community bank we have the same tools but with a more personalized approach! I also got to facilitate a fun team building activity. Earlier this month I graduated from LEADERSHIP WESTERVILLE's 2024 class. To say it was an exceptional experience would be an understatement. I looked forward to those Wednesdays where I connected with individuals I wouldn't have met in a normal day. I am very thankful to be apart of the City of Westerville community.

Last week Genoa Township Business Association had the honor of giving two scholarships to very deserving seniors. It is an honor to serve as the Vice President for an organization that impacts the community directly. There was also an enlightening presentation about the Power of Negotiation from Kwame Christian, Esq., M.A. I highly recommend listening to his podcast or hearing him speak if you have the opportunity. Just a reminder that taking a break from work to do what you love/need is encouraged! This weekend I started my day with biking to one of my favorite smoothie shops, taking in the fresh air, and the beauty that spring brings. It is so important to reset and take care of yourself so you can be the best you in the workplace. I know when Monday rolls around I will be ready to take on the day. Read the book, go on a bike ride, hang out with your kids because it will only make you better in your profession! Have a wonderful weekend 👏☺️

I often talk about my professional activities. However, today was the first time I got to hold my niece after she was in the nicu for a month. Being an aunt is 100% my favorite job I could ever ask for. It’s always a great reminder of what drives you to do what you do everyday. 💕See pictured an excited brother with his sister! Also, shout out to Ohio State Hospital and Nationwide Children's Hospital for taking wonderful care of both of these beautiful babies when they were in the nicu.

The Westerville Women in Business Luncheon was absolutely inspiring! The event supported Nationwide Children's Hospital. All the attendees got to color a butterfly for a child at the Westerville Campus. We then got to hear the inspiring story of overcoming imposter syndrome by Jenny Saunders. Being apart of the Westerville Area Chamber continues to be one of the best decisions I have made. I have met some of the best people through the chamber! We hope to see you at our next event!!!
