SBV's Forex Policy Must Adjust To Account For All Industries' Needs 90 per cent of the raw materials for Viet Nam's exports were purchased abroad. - Photo baodautu HA NOI (VNS) - The State Bank of Viet Nam (SBV)'s foreign exchange policy will be based on macroeconomic management and harmonised with the benefits of all industries and sectors, and not exports alone. This statement was made by the Deputy Director of SBV's Credit Department, Vo Minh Tuan. The central bank's foreign exchange (forex) adjustment is based on three factors: current balance, capital balance and the national monetary policy's management orientation, Tuan said, adding that SBV's Department of Monetary Policy and Foreign Exchange Management were closely watching the market in order to determine the most suitable measures that can be adopted.

They have printed currencies for 150 different countries since the 1800's. They have special printing equipment that cannot be duplicated and the Dinar has not been printed by any other source, and certainly not over printed by De La Rue. All serial numbers have been logged and the Iraqi government has authorized their distribution for dissemination to Dealers, in country sources, countries who participated in Iraq conflict and government agencies.

They say the next big battle for Iraqi Security Forces will be for the Baiji refinery....I've worked in places like this in the past and our biggest fear was terrorist activity..... The facilities are usually so large and there are just way too many places someone could place something like an IED or multiples of them to do significant damage.... The booby traps they could leave behind make me shudder....as for the validity of other aspects of this article....to me they remain questionable.

I'm very leery of pre announcements like this. Why make this known to everyone so they can go out and buy more dinar? Since the dinar is not trading at this time, it's really not insider trader, but maybe a pumping scheme by the PTB to pay off more of Iraq's debt. On the other hand, April Fools was just the day before If I remember correctly, a few years ago we heard something similar around April 1st. Maybe this time the PTB are trying to catch us off guard by tricking us into thinking it's another joke. and then raise the value! risk1 : I don't think folks oppose the info, everyone knows the delta report is accurate. I think what people are thinking is let's hope Iraq follows through this time....
